Descending the Pennines on a Narrowboat. Diggle towards Manchester by Canal.

Once again we find ourselves in Lancashire, moored just a few metres from the end of the Standedge Tunnel, ready to descend down the western side of the Pennines towards the outskirts of Manchester.

We're joined by Manchester-based YouTuber Martin Zero who helps us out with a few locks while filming for a video of his own.

Passing some amazing scenery, we go through Saddleworth, Uppermill, ​and Stalybridge before we come to the end of the Huddersfield Narrow Canal at Ashton-under-Lyne.
