The SECRET Boat Graveyard!
We leave our mooring at Devil's Garden and continue down the River Weaver to what remains of Sutton Locks, the secret boat graveyard where boats go to die. Colin uncovers dozens of abandoned narrowboats, Weaver Barges, a working boat called Gowanburn, and a 250 year-old Mersey Flat called Daresbury. We continue on to Sutton Weaver Swing Bridge near Frodsham and gain access to the control room to watch the 520 ton bridge being swung using the original gear to allow Silver Fox through.
