Leaving our mooring at Wharton's Lock we head through the unusual Beeston Iron Lock, designed by Thomas Telford, before performing the Bunbury Shuffle through the town's three-staircase locks. We uncover the story of the night the German's were bombing Bunbury and the lock keeper's cottage, the now disused RAF Calveley, and we have a decision to make at Barbridge Junction...🤔
