Installing Bonded Privacy Windows on our New Narrowboat
After visiting Caldwell's Glass a few months ago to see how the windows on Narrowboat Silver Fox were made, Barry has brought the finished units to Bickerstaffe Boats. We're having a new generation of narrowboat windows fitted. Instead of the metal frame, they are toughened bonded black glass. In this vlog, we'll show you how the new bonded windows are prepared and fitted to the boat.

Ten Years Of Crazy!
2019 Marks a very special anniversary for me. It's ten years since I began a series of hardcore fundraising challenges for charity. I've cycled the length and breadth of the UK, stripped naked in deep snow, jumped from an airplane, organised a community to walk together, run more miles than I can remember, and I also smashed a world record. I've lost count of how much I've raised over the last decade, but it's in the tens of thousands of Pounds, which makes me smile everytime

Narrowboat Electrics. Installing our 12V & 230V Electrical System, Wiring, Batteries & Inver
It's time to wire up narrowboat Silver Fox! In this vlog we'll talk you through the electrical system we're installing, from the batteries and shore hook-up, through to the inverter, distribution board, each of the circuits, switches and appliances. Colin shows you how to carry out a power audit, and invents a battery made from jelly beans (no, really!).

Installing the Plumbing and Heating on our New Narrowboat
In this vlog we take a look at the first fix for the plumbing and heating systems on Narrowboat Silver Fox. We'll show you how we've organised the pipework, the hot and cold water system, how we heat the water and radiators, and where the wastewater ends up.
