Why we DON'T Love Narrowboating the River Thames!
It's beautiful, scenic, and typically English, but there's one big reason why we DON'T love narrowboating the River Thames. In this vlog, we travel from Day's Lock at Little Wittenham to South Stoke, near Goring. We pass the villages of Dorchester-on-Thames, Shillingford, Benson, and Wallingford before mooring near Withymead Nature Reserve.

River Boat CRASHES Into Our Narrowboat!
We suffer serious damage as a river boat crashes into our narrowboat. Luckily, we escaped serious injury but had we been in the galley we would have been seriously injured. Police, Paramedics, the Fire Service, and Environment Agency are involved as a Thames Cruiser suffers mechanical problems and loses control, smashing into our boat.

Narrowboats, Bun Throwing, and Mock Mayors on the River Thames!
Join us for a day of narrowboats, bun throwing, and mock mayors on the River Thames as we head out from Abingdon on narrowboat Silver Fox. After Dillon's passing a couple of weeks ago we journeyed from Lechlade to Abingdon, taking some time to reflect. We remember his life in a positive way.

Tension and Laughter on our Narrowboat trip to Lechlade-on-Thames.
There's tension and laughter on our narrowboat trip to Lechlade-on-Thames as our GoPro camera falls in the river, lost in the deep murky water forever. The fall-out doesn't last long though. We leave Tadpole Bridge, heading west through Radcot, Eaton Hastings, and Buscot on our way to Lechlade-on-Thames where we collapse in hysterics over a possible translation of Lechlade.

Taming the Thames. Narrowboat Journey on England's most FAMOUS River!
We're taming the Thames! Taking our canal narrowboat on a journey on England's most famous river, the River Thames! It's strange being back on a river, and we're cruising against the current for the next 25 miles towards Lechlade. We begin just outside Oxford by Wytham Hill and Great Wood, heading west through Eynsham, passing the huge Farmoor Reservoir, onto Bablock Hythe, Newbridge, and mooring up by Tadpole Bridge next to the Trout Pub.
