Crick Boat Show 2018
The last time we came to Crick was 2004. Shaun's mum had only recently passed away, and her early passing had spurred us on to go out and enjoy life while we had the time, health and money to do it. Between March and May 2004 We visited a few boat builders, and for us Crick was the ideal opportunity to see loads of boats, builders, brokerages, and of course, boaters! We were blown away by the choice, but it was there when we saw, and ultimately bought our first boat, an Aqual

Autism and Me - Why living on a narrowboat could save my mental health.
Some viewers have asked why we moved off our first narrowboat back in 2004. In this video, I try to explain everything, although the title has given it away already! I guess it's also my 'autism coming out' story explaining how Aspergers Syndrome affects me, and Shaun. I recorded it during a walk. I'm sorry if I babble on sometimes!

Crick Boat Show 2018 - Day Two - Looking for our next Narrowboat.
We're back at the Crick Boat Show 2018 (Sunday) with over a dozen appointments to view narrowboats for us to liveaboard. We're trying to decide whether to go for a new-build or choose a used narrowboat, up to four or five years old.

Crick Boat Show 2018 - Day One - Choosing Our Canal Narrowboat.
Here we are! 14 Years to the month after we bought our first narrowboat, we're at the Crick Boat Show 2018. We've met some great friends, saw some awesome narrowboats, and paid through the nose for our lunch! Join us for day two tomorrow.

We'd Like You To Meet Someone
In Episode Six, we took Dillon, our eight-year old English Springer Spaniel out on a narrowboat to see how he reacted to the canal environment. It's taken Shaun and I many months to come up with a workable plan that will allow us to balance continuously cruising the UK canal network while making enough money to be able to survive. One of the most important considerations was whether our best friend, Dillon, would take to the water. A big factor in whether Dillon would be happ

Meet Dillon the Springer Spaniel and how he loved being on a Canal Narrowboat.
Meet our third crew member, Dillon! He's our gorgeous, eight-year-old, slightly daft, English Springer Spaniel. He'd never been on a narrowboat until a couple of weeks ago. We decided to make sure he was happy, comfortable, and confident on the water. He loved it! Sorry, it's only two minutes - he's so hyper, we couldn't keep him still!

Talking About Narrowboats and Gimbals.
We bought a DJI Osmo Mobile 2 gimbal to help us make better vlogs, so we took it out to see what it could do. I was impressed, but Shaun fell for it in a big way... Literally! We had a chat about the upcoming Crick Boat Show too.

Water World Episode Three. Life on a narrowboat.
Shaun and I look back at episode 3 of the television programme 'Water World' which we featured in back in 2004 when we were in the process of buying our first narrowboat. This episode looks at the issues we had with the boat and how great the New Boat Co and Aqualine were at fixing them.

The Gimbal Tumble
We bought a DJI Osmo Mobile 2 Gimbal, and took it out for a walk along the Calder & Hebble to try it out. Shaun literally 'fell' for it! You know when you go out with a plan, but it ends completely differently. Today was that day. I bought the gimbal a few days ago after (spending too many hours) researching them. The DJI Osmo Mobile 2 seemed to fit our needs, so I placed the order and it arrived the next day (Thank you Apple!). I set it up (after charging for a couple of hou

Water World Episode Two. Moving on our new narrowboat.
Shaun and I look back at episode 2 of the television programme 'Water World' which we featured in back in 2004 when we were in the process of buying our first narrowboat. This episode catches up with us taking delivery of the boat and sailing it from Hanbury to Wakefield.
