Long term relationship advice, gay couple stories, and how to make a relationship last are topics we are asked about all the time. After 33 years together we are sharing how our relationship survived the early challenges, how we met, how we fell in love, and what really keeps a relationship strong. Whether you are an LGBTQ couple or simply looking for honest, real world relationship guidance, this is our full story. We look back at the early nineties when acceptance was not guaranteed. We talk about the challenges we faced with family reactions, community attitudes, discrimination, and the moments that shaped us as partners and as people. Life as a young gay couple was very different back then and we wanted to speak honestly about what helped us stay together despite everything going on around us. In this video we also share the practical things that helped us build a long term, healthy relationship. How we communicate when things get tough, how we resolve arguments without letting them grow, and the mindset shifts that helped us stay connected over the years. These are the tools, habits, and truths that made the biggest difference for us. We know many younger gay couples follow the channel, so we wanted to offer the advice we wish we had heard in our twenties. If you are in a relationship, starting a new one, or simply curious about how two people stay together for more than three decades, we hope this helps and gives you something real to take away.
