Manchester's Underworld by Narrowboat - The Rochdale Nine

Today we'll take you through Manchester's underworld by narrowboat as we tackle the Rochdale Nine, the infamous last nine locks from the junction of the Ashton Canal and Rochdale Canal, down through the city centre of Manchester to Castlefield Basin. We'll pass Manchester's gay village surrounding Canal Street, the peaceful Sackville Gardens where Colin tells the heartbreaking story of Alan Turing before joining the Bridgewater Canal at Castlefield Junction and head out towards the Old Trafford stadium, home to Manchester United.
